Imagine the Delphi community with no Opera House. No beautiful historic venue on the courthouse square. No shows to inspire and entertain, showcasing local, regional, and national talent. This potential tragedy is no longer impossible to imagine. 2020 closed the Opera House doors and gave us a glimpse of life in Delphi with no Opera House.


Now, more than ever, we need to redouble our efforts to ensure the success of this centerpiece of Delphi. The boards of the Delphi Preservation Society and the Delphi Opera House worked diligently to ensure that a permanent closure did not happen. Thanks to grants and the support of generous donors we survived.


The Delphi Opera House Economic Impact Statement describes the positive impact the Opera House has had in its first 5 years of operation. Consider the impact it can have over the next 5, 10, or even 100 years. Get your copy here:
