Delphi Opera House
Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of its Restoration and Grand Reopening
2025
Indiana Landmarks created this video when the Delphi Preservation Society received the Cook Cup for their restoration efforts.
In this video, the artistic quality of the restoration project and the stunning beauty of the opera house highlight the value of this venue and the pride that it brings the community of Delphi. What was once a thriving venue of the late 19th century and early 20th century, with such noted performers as Hoosier poet James Whitcomb Riley, is now a thriving venue with modern amenities and handicap accessibility.

Performers and patrons alike are in awe of the historic preservation that honors the past, the practical functionality of the present facility, and the excellence in quality of the concerts, theatre performances, and wide variety of community events. The Delphi Opera House is truly the centerpiece of downtown Delphi and a catalyst for growth and positive change.
