In the Limelight 2021: Our First Honoree - Rena Brouwer

Rena Brouwer, Carroll County's own international award-winning watercolorist, instructor and entrepreneur, was honored during the inaugural event in the Legacy Series on October 17, 2021. For over 40 years Rena Brouwer's paintings have reflected the beauty of a captured moment transposed onto paper in her unique contemporary style, one that is recognized worldwide. Guests were inspired while Rena painted her response to the musical accompaniment of Cheryl Kaldahl. Rena's musically-inspired work was auctioned at the end of the event and several of her paintings were on display for purchase.
