Volunteer Information...
There are many ways in which to get involved with the Delphi Preservation Society...
We hope that you will want to help with our many projects to preserve the historic look of Delphi and the surrounding community.
Ways in which you can help...
| Newsletter | Interview people; write articles; help with layout |

| Promotion | Write press releases; create flyers. |
| Word Processing | Help with mailing lists, volunteer lists, inventory sheets, etc. |
| Mailings | Fold flyers, stuff envelopes, apply labels and stamps. |
| Photography | Take photos for newsletter, promotion, events, web site. |
| Gallery Volunteer | Meet and greet visitors, work the desk, record sales...enjoy a few hours in an inviting space! |
| Grant Writing | Requires some prior experience, but really needed! |
| Natonal Register Nominations | Research historic structures and prepare applications for the National Register of Historic Places. |
| Tour Guides | Want to learn about Delphi's historic homes? the Opera House? historic downtown businesses? We need docents for building tours, walking, and trolley tours of Delphi. |
| Event Planning | Help our program committee in finding speakers, organizaing events, and handling the details. |
| Archives/Artifacts | Interested in historic documents and artifacts? Want to organize and record information about them? This may be for you. |
| Fundraising | Contacting others and asking for donations and sponsorships. | Saturday Work Crews | For those who want to get physical and probably dirty, too! Tasks may include cleaning, painting, window washing, demolition, and whatever! |
| Web Site | We need web volunteers who can help keep our site up to date. Experience helpful! |
| Facebook/Twitter | Okay, let's face it, some of us are a little long in the tooth and might need some younger hands to keep our outlook and outreach current! |
