DISTANCE
The race will include a USATF certified 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk and a non-competitive 1 mile fun-run for kids.
COURSES
Starting at Delphi’s historic Courthouse Square,
the race will wind through tree-lined streets, past the Country Club, under the railroad tracks,
through City Park, then back to the square. The
kids fun run will start at the square, turn onto Monroe Street to City Park and back. See Course Map.
PARKING
Free parking is available at the Riley Park Annex, two blocks south of the Square, and in city lots around town.
POST RACE ACTIVITIES
The Delphi Lions Club will host a pancake and sausage breakfast followng the race...free for registrants.
AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the top 3 Male and Female runners, the top 3 Masters (age 40+) Male and Female runners, and to the top 3 Teams finishing in the Run. The top 3 Kid’s Fun Run winners will also receive awards.
PACKET PICK UP
Packets will be available for pick up on race day at the registration booth on the Courthouse Square.
KID’s FUN RUN
Kids (10 and under) can help the Restoration Project and have fun, too. All that is needed to enter is a sponsor envelope with $5. Kids get to drop their envelope into the giant diamond at race time. They will receive a free water bottle and clip plus prizes for the top 3 finishers.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed to help with all aspects of the race. Please send an email with “Volunteer” in the subject line to dash@delphipreservationsociety.org for more information.
REGISTRATION FEES FOR 5K WALK/RUN
Registration is $25. Teams of five runners or walkers can register for the price of four. Coed teams are fine. The best three of five times will determine the team finishing time for the Run. To register online, click on the Register Now! button.
Applications will be available at most businesses in the Delphi by mid July. Or, you can download an application form to return by mail. Applications can also be dropped off at the Opera House Gallery of Contemporary Art at 109 S. Washington Street, Delphi, Indiana.

PROCEEDS
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Delphi Preservation Society, Inc. in replacing the roof on the historic Delphi Opera House on the East Side of the Courthouse Square and the restoration of the Opera House as a performing arts venue.
